Ali Imsirovic
Almedin "Ali" Imsirovic (born January 29, 1995) is a Bosnian-American professional poker player from Vancouver, Washington. Early life and education Imsirovic was born in Bosnia and moved to the United States at the age of three with his family after the Bosnian War. Fond of basketball, Ali however had to drop any dreams of turning pro because of ankle problems. He studied criminal justice at Washington State but dropped out a semester short of graduating to pursue poker full-time right before the Black Friday events, starting illegally with online games at the age of 16. Career At the age of 18, Ali Imsirovic joined live tournaments, and won $1,500 in the first poker tournament he ever played in and deposited $100 online to begin his career. Zenica
Zenica ( ; ; ) is a city in Bosnia and Herzegovina and an administrative and economic center of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina's Zenica-Doboj Canton. 2019 World Series Of Poker
The 2019 World Series of Poker was the 50th annual tournament, and took place from May 28 – July 16, 2019 at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. There were 90 bracelet events. To celebrate the 50th WSOP there was a $50,000 No Limit Hold'em event as well as the Big 50, a $500 buy-in No Limit Hold'em event with a guaranteed $5 million prize pool and $1 million for the winner. There was also a tournament open only to past WSOP bracelet winners. A short deck tournament was also held for the first time. All No Limit Hold'em events employed the Big Blind Ante format. The $10,000 No Limit Hold'em Main Event began on July 3 and concluded on July 16. Super High Roller Bowl
The Super High Roller Bowl is a recurring high stakes No-Limit Hold'em poker tournament that takes place at venues across the world. The first edition of the event was held in July 2015 and featured a $500,000 buy-in, drawing a field of 43 players. Brian Rast won the inaugural tournament, earning $7,525,000. The World Series of Poker (WSOP) is a series of poker tournaments held annually in Paradise, Nevada and, since 2004, sponsored by Caesars Entertainment. It dates its origins to 1970, when Benny Binion invited seven of the best-known poker players to the Horseshoe Casino for a single tournament, with a set start and stop time, and a winner determined by a secret ballot of the seven players.
