Ali Akbar Tajvidi
Akbar Tajvidi ( fa, , 1927 – June 10, 2017) was an Iranian painter, researcher, archaeologist, and a Persian miniature painter. Education Akbar Tajvidi was born on Oct 14 1926. He was the son of Hadi Khan Tajvidi, who was a painter and a student of Kamal-ol-molk. His brothers Mohammad and Ali Tajvidi were Iranian painters and musicians. Akbar was also a student of Kamal-ol-molk who attended the Sanaye Mostazrafeh Art School, better known as Kamal-ol-molk Art School. He became one of the most famous artist and researcher of the Tajvidi family. Akbar had a brilliant career in art education and cooperated frequently with the Ministry of Culture and Arts. He was a serious initiator of doing qualitative research in the history of the Persian miniature. Career Akbar Tajvidi spent many years researching. Persian Miniature
A Persian miniature (Persian: نگارگری ایرانی ''negârgari Irâni'') is a small Persian painting on paper, whether a book illustration or a separate work of art intended to be kept in an album of such works called a ''muraqqa''. The techniques are broadly comparable to the Western Medieval and Byzantine traditions of miniatures in illuminated manuscripts. Although there is an equally well-established Persian tradition of wall-painting, the survival rate and state of preservation of miniatures is better, and miniatures are much the best-known form of Persian painting in the West, and many of the most important examples are in Western, or Turkish, museums. Kamal-ol-molk
Mohammad Ghaffari ( fa, محمد غفاری), better known as Kamal-ol-Molk (), was an Iranian painter and part of the Ghaffari family in Kashan. Biography Mohammad Ghaffari, better known as Kamal-ol-Molk, born in Kashan in 1848, to a family with a strong artistic tradition, tracing their origins back to notable painters during the reign of Nader Shah. Kamal's uncle, Mirza Abolhassan Khan Ghaffari, known as Sanee-ol-Molk, a celebrated 19th-century painter, was notable for his watercolor portraiture. His father, Mirza Bozorg Ghaffari Kashani, was the founder of Iran's painting school and a famous artist as well. His brother, Abutorab Ghaffari, was also a distinguished painter of his time. Behesht-e Zahra
Behesht-e Zahra ( fa, بهشت زهرا, lit. ''The Paradise of Zahra'', from Fatima az-Zahra) is the largest cemetery in Iran. Located in the southern part of metropolitan Tehran, it is connected to the city by Tehran Metro Line 1. History In the early 1950s, all the cemeteries in Tehran were supposed to be replaced by several large new ones outside the then precincts of the capital. Behesht-e Zahra was built in late 1960s on the southern side of Tehran towards the direction of the city of Qom and opened on 29 June 1970 by mayor of Tehran, Gholamreza Nikpey. It was named by Ayatollah Ahmad Khonsari. The first person buried in Behesht-e Zahra was Mohammad-Taghi Khial on 25 July 1970.
