Alfredo Carneros
Alfredo Carneros Beamud (born 7 October 1978) is a Spanish table tennis player. Carneros narrowly lost the bronze medal to his teammate Carlos Machado in the men's singles at the 2009 Mediterranean Games in Pescara, Italy. As of February 2013, Carneros is ranked no. 215 in the world by the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF). Carneros is a member of the table tennis team for San Sebastian de los Reyes Sports Club in Madrid, and is coached and trained by Alejandro Maldonado. He is also left-handed, and uses the classic grip. Collado Mediano is a town and municipality in the north-west of the Community of Madrid, Spain. It had a population of 6,610 in 2011 and is located 48 km from Madrid. Achanta Sharath Kamal (born 12 July 1982) is an Indian professional table tennis player. He is the first Indian table tennis player ever to become ten times Senior National Champion hence breaking the record of eight-time National Champion Kamlesh Mehta. In 2019 he was awarded the Padma Shri, India's fourth highest civilian award and in 2022, he was awarded the Khel Ratna Award, India's highest sporting honour. His ITTF world ranking is 32 .
