Alfredo Andreini
Alfredo Andreini (27 July 1870, in Florence – 11 December 1943, in Lippiano) was an Italians, Italian physician and entomologist. He carried out a large collection of insects collected in particular from Cape Verde (1908) and in Libya (1913) and Eritrea. He collaborated with the zoological museum La Specola. In geometry, he enumerated and published a list of 25 convex uniform honeycombs in 1905 (the space-filling Honeycomb (geometry), tessellations of Regular polyhedron, regular and Semiregular polyhedron, semiregular polyhedron, polyhedra). This was the most complete list published until approximately 1991 when Norman Johnson (mathematician), Norman Johnson completed the full list of 28 forms. References

Norman Johnson (mathematician)
Norman Woodason Johnson () was a mathematician at Wheaton College, Norton, Massachusetts. Early life and education Norman Johnson was born on in Chicago. His father had a bookstore and published a local newspaper. Johnson earned his undergraduate mathematics degree in 1953 at Carleton College in Northfield, Minnesota followed by a master's degree from the University of Pittsburgh. After graduating in 1953, Johnson did alternative civilian service as a conscientious objector. He earned his PhD from the University of Toronto in 1966 with a dissertation title of ''The Theory of Uniform Polytopes and Honeycombs'' under the supervision of H. S. M. Coxeter. From there, he accepted a position in the Mathematics Department of Wheaton College in Massachusetts and taught until his retirement in 1998. A regular polyhedron is a polyhedron whose symmetry group acts transitively on its flags. A regular polyhedron is highly symmetrical, being all of edge-transitive, vertex-transitive and face-transitive.
