Alfred Doll-Steinberg
Alfred Doll-Steinberg (20 September 1933 – 9 May 2012) was a British chemical engineer, who made a significant contribution to the design and economics of oil refinery and petrochemical plant design in its early days. In the early 1990s, he became the most vociferous of the Lloyd’s "names" who suffered heavy losses in the London insurance market, and was chairman of the Gooda Walker and Wellington action groups. Lloyd's offered a £900 million settlement in due course and in response to political pressure and legal action by the numerous "names" groups. Early life Alfred Doll-Steinberg was born in Vienna, the son of Marcus Doll-Steinberg, who worked for the government there until the Austrian Nazis sacked all Jews from government jobs, and they moved to Nottingham, England. Gonville and Caius College, often referred to simply as Caius ( ), is a constituent college of the University of Cambridge in Cambridge, England. Sir Stuart Anthony Lipton (born 9 November 1942) is a British property developer, a founder of Stanhope plc, and the co-founder of the property company Chelsfield with Elliott Bernerd, and now a co-founder (with Peter Rogers) and partner in Lipton Rogers Developments LLP. Early life Stuart was born in 1942 to a Jewish family, the son of Bertram Green and Jeanette Lipton (''née'' Lipton). He was educated at Berkhamsted School. His mother cofounded, with her brother Gerald Lipton MBE, the retailer Chinacraft in 1951. Bruiser (TV Series)
''Bruiser'' is a TV comedy sketch show that was produced for BBC Two. It premiered on 28 February 2000 and ran for six episodes, ending on 15 March 2000. The principal writers were David Mitchell (comedian), David Mitchell and Robert Webb (actor), Robert Webb. Additional writers included Richard Ayoade and Ricky Gervais. The BBC writes, "And if the series itself is not widely remembered, it's notable not least for bringing together an immensely talented group of young performers who have since joined the 'A' list of British comedians." David Soul (born David Richard Solberg; August 28, 1943) is an American-British actor and singer. He is known for his role as Detective Kenneth "Hutch" Hutchinson in the television series ''Starsky & Hutch'' from 1975 to 1979; Joshua Bolt on ''Here Come the Brides'' from 1968 to 1970; and Officer John Davis in ''Magnum Force'' in 1973.
