Alexandria Monroe High School is a high school in Alexandria, Indiana, United States. About Alexandria Monroe High School is a co-educational public school enrolling students in grades 9–12. It is under the auspices of the Alexandria Community School Corporation. The school enrolls around 800 students. Athletics The Alexandria-Monroe Tigers Compete on the Central Indiana Athletic Conference. The Tigers won the IHSAA AA championship in baseball in 1998 as well as 2019. ''Can You Duet'' is an American reality-competition show on CMT. The show was produced by FremantleMedia, the same company that produces ''American Idol''. The show premiered on April 14, 2008, and the first season ended on June 13, 2008. Sixwire, runners up from Fox's ''Next Great American Band'', performed as the house band for ''Can You Duet'' with Steve Mandile serving as the show's musical director. Two additional musicians, Steve Hornbeak on keyboards and Andrea Young on violin, performed with Sixwire during the show. The show was cancelled after two seasons. Rory Lee Feek (born April 25, 1965) is an American country music singer and songwriter. In his career, he has written singles for Clay Walker, Blake Shelton, Tracy Byrd and other artists. He and his wife, Joey Feek, formed the duo Joey + Rory and was placed third on the first season of the CMT talent show ''Can You Duet''. Joey Marie Feek (née Martin, September 9, 1975 – March 4, 2016) was an American country music singer and songwriter. From 2008 to 2016, the duo Joey + Rory comprised her and her husband, Rory Feek. The Indiana High School Athletic Association (IHSAA) is the arbiter of interscholastic competition among public and private high schools in the U.S. state of Indiana. It monitors a system that divides athletically-competing high schools in Indiana based on the school's enrollment. The divisions, known as classes, are intended to foster fair competition among schools of similar sizes. A school ranked 3A is larger than a school ranked 1A, but not as large as a 6A-ranked school.
