Alexandra Recchia
Alexandra Recchia (born 25 October 1988) is a French karateka. She is a two-time gold medalist in the women's kumite 50kg event at the World Karate Championships and a two-time gold medalist in this event at the European Karate Championships. Career Recchia won one of the bronze medals in the women's team kumite event at the 2008 World Karate Championships held in Tokyo, Japan. In 2010, she won the gold medal in this event at the World Karate Championships held in Belgrade, Serbia. In 2012, Recchia won the gold medal in the women's team kumite and the women's kumite 50kg events at the World Karate Championships held in Paris, France. At the 2013 World Games held in Cali, Colombia, Recchia won the silver medal in the women's kumite 50kg event. In the final, she lost against Serap Özçelik of Turkey. Alexandra Feracci (born 10 October 1992) is a French karateka. She won one of the bronze medal in the women's individual kata event at the 2019 European Karate Championships held in Guadalajara, Spain. Feracci represented France at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Japan. She competed in the women's kata event. 2013 World Games
The 2013 World Games ( es, Juegos Mundiales 2013), the ninth World Games, were an international multi-sport event held in the city of Cali, Colombia, from July 25 to August 4. Host city allocation history The 2013 World Games were initially allocated to the German cities of Duisburg and Düsseldorf. However, at the end of 2008, Duisburg withdrew and Düsseldorf dropped out because both cities could not secure enough funding, partly as a result of the financial crisis of 2007–08 and the subsequent Great Recession. Two alternate cities came forward to the IWGA to bid for these Games: Pretoria, South Africa and Cali, Colombia. The Mediterranean Games is a multi-sport event organised by the International Committee of Mediterranean Games (CIJM). World Games
The World Games are an international multi-sport event comprising sports and sporting disciplines that are not contested in the Olympic Games. They are usually held every four years, one year after a Summer Olympic Games, over the course of 11 days. The World Games are governed by the International World Games Association, under the patronage of the International Olympic Committee. In the most recent editions, between 25 and 34 sports have been included in the official programme.
