Alexander Refsum Jensenius
Alexander Refsum Jensenius (born 10 November 1978) is a Norwegian researcher and musician. He is Professor of music technology and Director oRITMO- Centre for Interdisciplinary Studies in Rhythm, Time and Motion at the University of Oslo, and Director of the Center for AI & Creativity that was awarded 200 million NOK in 2025. He was Head of the Department of Musicology at the University of Oslo from 2013 to 2016 and served as the Chair of the Steering Committee for NIME, the International Conference in New Interfaces for Musical Expression from 2011 to 2022. He is the grandson of politician Marie Borge Refsum and brother of Francesca R. Jensenius. Jensenius is educated in music, computer science, physics and mathematics. Asker
Asker (), also called Asker proper (''Askerbygda'' or ''gamle Asker'' in Norwegian), is a district and former Municipalities of Norway, municipality in Akershus, Norway, located approximately 20km southwest of Oslo.
