Alex Porter
Alex Michael Porter (born 5 July 1980) is an English former volleyball player, commentator, and former Great Britain volleyball Captain. He also managed the Great Britain Men's Volleyball Team for the 2012 European Championship. He was a court side Expert Pundit at the 2012 Summer Olympics and Paralympics 2012 Games, covering the volleyball and sitting volleyball competitions matches held at Earls Court & ExCeL venue. During the games he joined up with Jonathan Legard to commentate for the BBC's live coverage of the Olympic Volleyball, including the men's Gold medal match. Colchester
Colchester ( ) is a city in Essex, in the East of England. It had a population of 122,000 in 2011. The demonym is Colcestrian. BBC Red Button is a brand used for digital interactive television services provided by the BBC, and broadcast in the United Kingdom. The services replaced Ceefax, the BBC's analogue teletext service. Sokol V (Austria)
The Sokol movement (, ''falcon'') is an all-age gymnastics organization first founded in Prague in the Czech region of Austria-Hungary in 1862 by Miroslav Tyrš and Jindřich Fügner. It was based upon the principle of " a strong mind in a sound body". The Sokol, through lectures, discussions, and group outings provided what Tyrš viewed as physical, moral, and intellectual training for the nation. This training extended to men of all ages and classes, and eventually to women. The movement also spread across all the regions populated by Slavic cultures, most of them part of either Austria-Hungary or the Russian Empire: present-day Slovakia, the Slovene Lands, Croatia, Serbia ( SK Soko), Bulgaria, Poland ( Sokół), Ukraine, Belarus. Vingåker
Vingåker () is a Urban areas in Sweden, locality and the seat of Vingåker Municipality, Södermanland County, Sweden with 4,282 inhabitants in 2010. It is located by road from the nearest larger city Örebro and north-west of county seat Nyköping. It was partly built in the English garden of Säfstaholm, a large estate which until 1855 was home to philanthropist and art collector Gustaf Trolle-Bonde. The estate is nowadays owned by the municipality and contains an art museum with yearly exhibitions during the summer. Sheffield Volleyball Club
Sheffield Volleyball Club was founded in 1989 and in its short history has already had an illustrious past. Starting as a recreational volleyball side it quickly established itself as one of the major volleyball clubs in the country. Currently, the club runs multiple other teams alongside their Men's and Women's performance teams. Sheffield Volleyball Club also offer opportunities for junior players. Men's 1st team The men's 1st team are one of the most consistently successful teams in recent history in English Volleyball. The team is largely made up of students based at the performance programme of Sheffield Hallam University and relatively local talent. The team has always had a history of developing players from the university level and preparing them for potentially embarking on a professional career as a volleyball player overseas. Kirby-le-Soken
Kirby-le-Soken is a village and former civil parish, now in the parish of Frinton and Walton, in the Tendring district of North East Essex, England, which is mainly agricultural, but increasingly residential, near Frinton-on-Sea and Walton-on-the-Naze. BBC Three
BBC Three is a British free-to-air public broadcast television channel owned and operated by the BBC.
