Alex Konstantinou
Alexandros "Alex" Konstantinou ( el, Αλέξανδρος Κωνσταντίνου, born 11 April 1992) is a Cypriot–English professional footballer who plays as a winger for Karmiotissa. Career Northampton Town Konstantinou was a regular scorer for the Northampton Town youth team, before being handed a squad number in February 2010. Konstantinou, along with Paul Walker and Michael Jacobs, were awarded professional contracts for the 2010-11 season. He made his professional debut in the League Cup against Reading on 24 August 2010 setting up a 120+5 min equaliser. Alex played one match for Woburn F.C. in the Bedfordshire County Football League Premier Division against Sharnbrook F.C. on Saturday, 1 October 2011. The match finished 3-2 to Sharnbrook F.C. Nicosia ( ; el, Λευκωσία, Lefkosía ; tr, Lefkoşa ; hy, Նիկոսիա, romanized: ''Nikosia''; Cypriot Arabic: Nikusiya) is the largest city, capital, and seat of government of Cyprus. Northampton Town
Northampton Town Football Club is a professional association football club based in the town of Northampton, England. The team plays in , the fourth tier of the English football league system. Founded in 1897, the club competed in the Midland League for two seasons, before joining the Southern League in 1901. They were crowned Southern League champions in 1908–09, allowing them to contest the 1909 FA Charity Shield. Admitted into the Football League in 1920, they spent the next 38 years in the Third Division South. 2014–15 Cypriot First Division
The 2014–15 Cypriot First Division was the 76th season of the Cypriot top-level football league. It began on 23 August 2014 and ended on 24 May 2015. APOEL were the defending champions. The league reduced from 14 to 12 teams this season, comprised ten teams from the 2013–14 season and two promoted teams from the 2013–14 B1 Division. It began on 29 October 2014 with the first round and concluded on 20 May 2015 with the final which was held at GSZ Stadium. APOEL clinched their 21st Cypriot Cup trophy and their second in successive seasons with a convincing 4–2 victory over AEL Limassol. The group stage of the 2013–14 UEFA Europa League was played from 19 September to 12 December 2013. A total of 48 teams competed in the group stage. Cypriot First Division
The Cypriot First Division ( el, Πρωτάθλημα Α΄ Κατηγορίας) is the top tier football league competition in Cyprus, run by the Cyprus Football Association. Since February 2016, it is sponsored by Cyta and is thus officially known as the Cyta Championship. The league is contested by 14 teams and runs from August to May, with the three lowest-placed teams being relegated to the Cypriot Second Division, and replaced by the top three teams in that division.
