Alex Hon (born 26 August 1976 in Hong Kong) is a former professional darts player from Hong Kong. Career Hon almost qualified for the 2011 PDC World Darts Championship The 2011 Ladbrokes.com World Darts Championship was the 18th World Championship organised by the Professional Darts Corporation since it separated from the British Darts Organisation. The event took place at the Alexandra Palace, London from 16 D ..., but lost in the final of the Chinese qualifier to Scott MacKenzie. He also lost in the final of the 2012 Hong Kong Open to Ryan Ocampo. A victory over Yuanjun Liu saw Han qualify for the 2015 World Championship, where he lost 4–0 to Nolan Arendse in the preliminary round. Hon lost in the final of the Hong Kong Open for the second time in 2015, this time to Scott MacKenzie. Queen (band)
Queen are a British rock band formed in London in 1970 by Freddie Mercury (lead vocals, piano), Brian May (guitar, vocals) and Roger Taylor (Queen drummer), Roger Taylor (drums, vocals), later joined by John Deacon (bass). Their earliest works were influenced by progressive rock, hard rock and Heavy metal music, heavy metal, but the band gradually ventured into more conventional and radio-friendly works by incorporating further styles, such as arena rock and pop rock. 2011 PDC World Darts Championship
The 2011 Ladbrokes.com World Darts Championship was the 18th World Championship organised by the Professional Darts Corporation since it separated from the British Darts Organisation. The event took place at the Alexandra Palace, London from 16 December 2010 and 3 January 2011. A total of 72 players took part, 16 of whom began at the preliminary round stage, with the eight winners joining the remaining 56 players in the first round proper. Phil Taylor was the defending champion, having won the 2010 tournament. He was knocked out of the tournament at the quarter final stage by Mark Webster, who in turn was defeated by Adrian Lewis in the semi-finals. Lewis went on to win the tournament, beating Gary Anderson 7–5 in the final to become only the fifth different PDC World Champion and the first to have won it without having won the rival BDO World Championship. Scott MacKenzie (darts Player)
Scott MacKenzie (born 21 February 1972) is a retired Brazilian-born British professional darts player based in Hong Kong. He has represented Hong Kong on numerous occasions (in both steel tip and soft tip darts), including captaining the Hong Kong team at the 2008 Asia Pacific Cup in New Zealand and 2012 team to Australia. He was also a member of the 2010 and 2016 Asia Pacific Cup teams. He has played in a total of 3 PDC World Championships and 3 PDC World Cups currently more than any other Hong Kong darts player. The 2015 William Hill World Darts Championship was the 22nd World Championship organised by the Professional Darts Corporation since it separated from the British Darts Organisation. The event was held at the Alexandra Palace, London between 18 December 2014 and 4 January 2015. Michael van Gerwen was the defending champion, having won his first World Championship title in 2014, but he lost 6–3 to Gary Anderson in the semi-finals. Anderson won the title by beating 16-time World Champion Phil Taylor 7–6 in the final. Nolan Arendse
Nolan Arendse (born 16 December 1968 from Cape Town) is a former South African professional darts player. Career Arendse failed to qualify for the 2008 and 2010 PDC World Darts Championships. In 2010 he was diagnosed with a hypo-thyroid which forced him to give up darts for 18 months due to being partly paralysed. Two of his vertebrae were then crushed in a car accident after which Arendse had to wear a body brace for six months. Soon afterwards he suffered a heart attack. Arendse lost in the final of the 2013 SAPDO 501 Double Away to Charles Losper. He won the 2014 South African Masters by beating Devon Petersen 9–5 to qualify for the 2015 PDC World Darts Championship. Arendse needed two doctors' letters to get his daily medicine through customs at Heathrow Airport.
