Alex Crisano
Alex Vincent Crisano (born February 26, 1976) is a Filipino-American former professional basketball player. First Years Crisano was undrafted in 2000 but he was signed and directly hired by the Barangay Ginebra Kings. However, his stay with the Gin Kings was cut at the end of the 2004 PBA Fiesta Conference. He also played for the Talk 'N Text Tropang Texters that were known as the Phone Pals. Return to Barangay Ginebra Before the start of the 2008 PBA Fiesta Conference, the management of Ginebra announced that Crisano will return for the team. From there, his game as an energy player and a crowd favorite was seen by the fans. He helped the team beat the Air21 Express in the finals 4–3. The center (C), or the centre, also known as the five or the pivot, is one of the five Basketball position, positions in a regulation basketball game. The center is normally the tallest player on the team, and often has a great deal of strength and body mass as well. In the NBA, the center is typically close to tall. 2009 PBA Fiesta Conference
The 2009 Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) Fiesta Conference or known as the 2009 Motolite PBA Fiesta Conference for sponsorship reasons, was the last conference of the 2008-09 PBA season. It started on February 28 and finished on July 17. The tournament was shortened to accommodate the training of the national basketball team for the FIBA Asia Championship 2009 qualifying tournament for the 2010 FIBA World Championship. The last conference had games on Thursdays and Saturdays. The tournament is an import-laden format, which allows an import or a non-Filipino player for each team and with a new height limit of 6-foot-6. Two teams had new names before the start of the conference: the former Red Bull Barako was now known as the Barako Bull Energy Boosters, and the former Air21 Express were called as the Burger King Titans. ''Kapeng barako'' ( es, café varraco or café verraco), also known as Barako coffee or Batangas coffee, is a coffee varietal grown in the Philippines, particularly in the provinces of Batangas and Cavite. It belongs to the species ''Coffea liberica.'' The term is also used to refer to all coffee coming from those provinces. The NorthPort Batang Pier is a Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) team that first played in the 2012–13 PBA season. The team took over the franchise of the Powerade Tigers in 2012 after it was sold to Sultan 900 Capital, Inc.
