Aleksei Zozulin
Alexey Sergeevich Zozulin (russian: Алексей Сергеевич Зозулин, born January 14, 1983) is a Russian professional basketball player who last played for Lokomotiv Kuban of the VTB United League. He also represents the Russia national basketball team internationally. Professional career Zozulin has spent his entire career playing for teams in the top division of Russian basketball. Career highlights include winning the Russia Cup with UNICS Kazan in 2003 and playing in the Eurocup with Ural Great Perm in 2007 and 2008. In his most recent season, 2008–09, he averaged 6.9 points and 2.4 rebounds per game for Spartak Saint Petersburg. On 26 July 2012, Zozulin signed one-year deal with option to extend for one season with the Russian team CSKA Moscow. 2010 FIBA World Championship
The 2010 FIBA World Championship was the 16th FIBA World Championship, the international basketball world championship contested by the men's national teams. The tournament ran from 28 August to 12 September 2010. It was co-organised by the International Basketball Federation (FIBA), Turkish Basketball Federation and the 2010 Organising Committee. It was considered as prestigious a competition as the Olympic Basketball Tournament. The tournament was hosted by Turkey. The 2009 FIBA European Championship, commonly called FIBA EuroBasket 2009, was the 36th FIBA EuroBasket regional basketball championship held by FIBA Europe. Russian National Basketball Team
The Russia men's national basketball team (russian: национа́льная сбо́рная Росси́и по баскетболу, natsionalnaya sbornaya rossii po basketbolu) represents Russia in international basketball competition. They are organized and run by the Russian Basketball Federation (RBF). The team came into existence after the dissolution of the Soviet Union and its national team. In the post-Soviet era, the Russia national team consisting of Soviet players under the guidance of Sergei Belov won the silver medal at EuroBasket 1993.
