Aleksandra Walczak
Aleksandra M. Walczak is a theoretical biophysicist. She works on stochastic gene expression, immunology, evolution and collective motion at Ecole Normale Supérieure where she is a research director. Education Walczak completed her master's degree at Warsaw University, Poland in 2002, her PhD at University of California, San Diego in 2007, and was a post-doc until 2010 at Princeton University. A woman is an adult female human. Prior to adulthood, a female human is referred to as a girl (a female child or Adolescence, adolescent). The Société Française de Physique (SFP), or the French Physical Society, is the main professional society of French physicists. It was founded in 1873 by Charles Joseph d'Almeida. History The French Physical Society is a state-approved non-profit scientific society aiming to promote the knowledge of physics. Its member include physicists living in France, regardless of background. The prix Jean-Ricard is a prize awarded by the Société française de physique (SFP) to a French physicist for remarkable and original work. Jean Ricard, alumnus of École Polytechnique, engineer École supérieure d'électricité (E.S.E), and member of the SFP since 1925, donated to the SFP in April 1970 a portfolio of securities amounting to around four million francs to found the prize.
