Aleksandar Kovacevic ( sr, Александар Ковачевић, Aleksandar Kovačević; born August 29, 1998) is an American tennis player. Kovacevic has a career high ATP singles ranking of world No. 101, achieved on 3 April 2023. He also has a career high ATP doubles ranking of world No. 254, achieved also on 3 April 2023. Career 2021: Turned Pro, Grand Slam qualifying debut Kovacevic made his Grand Slam qualifying debut at the US Open, where he advanced to the final round before falling to Argentine Marco Trungelliti. 2022: ATP debut, first win and semifinal, Top 200 Kovacevic made his Top 250 debut on July 25, 2022, as world No. 227 following a final showing at the 2022 Indy Challenger. 2023 French Open – Men's Singles
Novak Djokovic defeated Casper Ruud in the final, 7–6(7–1), 6–3, 7–5 to win the men's singles tennis title at the 2023 French Open. It was his third French Open title and his record-breaking 23rd men's singles major title overall, surpassing the record he previously held jointly with Rafael Nadal. With the victory, Djokovic became the first man to achieve a triple career Grand Slam, and became the oldest French Open champion at the age of 36 years and 20 days. Nadal was the reigning champion, but withdrew due to a left hip injury. This was the first time the 14-time champion missed the tournament since his debut in 2005.
