Aldin Kurić
Aldin Kurić (born 21 July 1970), known by his stage name Al'Dino, is a Bosnian singer, songwriter and composer. Biography Aldin Kurić was born in Jajce, Bosnia and Herzegovina which was then a part of SFR Yugoslavia, where he enrolled in elementary music school, Department of harmonics, simultaneously playing the piano and guitar. To this day he remains a multi-instrumentalist. At the age of sixteen he randomly got a tape of jazz fusion band Weather Report and decided to start learning bass guitar. He lived in Jajce until he was eighteen years old and then went into the army. He later studied medicine in Sarajevo. There he met many musicians, including many jazz musicians and played in many jam sessions in the city as a bass guitarist. At the same time, he fell deeply in love with Bosnia's traditional folk songs, Sevdalinka and started to perform them under the name Al'Dino. Bosnians
Bosnians (Bosnian language: / ; / , / ) are people identified with the country of Bosnia and Herzegovina or with the region of Bosnia. As a common demonym, the term ''Bosnians'' refers to all inhabitants/citizens of the country, regardless of any ethnic, cultural or religious affiliation. It can also be used as a designation for anyone who is descended from the region of Bosnia. Safet Isović
Safet Isović (; 20 October 1936 – 2 September 2007) was a Bosnian singer who performed the Bosnian traditional music sevdalinka. Early life and family Isović was born into a Bosniak family in Bileća, located in the Herzegovina region of modern-day Bosnia and Herzegovina, while it was a part of Kingdom of Yugoslavia. Safet was one of three children of Ahmet Isović and Ermina; his brother's name was Fehim and his sister was Fehma. Safet's father Ahmet was the son of Zaim Isović, whose first wife, Derviša (née Baraković), died during childbirth on 19 June 1900. Safet became a war refugee at the age of five in 1941 when Yugoslavia was invaded by Nazi Germany. His family escaped to Banja Luka, where he attended elementary school. Mostar Sevdah Reunion
Mostar Sevdah Reunion is a world-fusion musical ensemble from Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina playing almost exclusively sevdalinka fused with contemporary musical styles. The band is composed of experienced musicians and often collaborates with renowned musicians in the field of Roma music: they made two albums with Šaban Bajramović and two albums with Ljiljana Buttler. Ljiljana frequently toured with the band until her death in 2010. The band was formed by Dragi Šestić in Mostar in 1998. It started out as a group of local, talented and experienced musicians. They were old friends who came together again in summer 1999 to record their first album. Their first CD was released 1999. Gordana "Goca" Tržan ( sr-cyr, Гордана "Гоца" Тржан, ; born 8 July 1974) is a Serbian singer, actress and television personality. Life and career Tržan rose to prominence as a member of the Belgrade-based group Tap 011, which was formed in 1994. After four albums released with the group, in 1999, she pursued a solo career. Her debut album, ''U niskom letu'' was released in 1999 under PGP-RTS. Zenica ( ; ; ) is a city in Bosnia and Herzegovina and an administrative and economic center of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina's Zenica-Doboj Canton. One Man Band
A one-man band is a musician who plays a number of instruments simultaneously using their hands, feet, limbs, and various mechanical or electronic contraptions.
