Alcatrazlistan
The ''Alcatrazlistan'' (English: Alcatraz List) is a most wanted list of 100 figures in organized crime maintained by the Swedish law enforcement agencies. It takes its name from the notorious prison in San Francisco. The ''Alcatrazlistan'' is maintained by a council of representatives from law enforcement agencies, including the Swedish National Police (''Rikskriminalpolisen''), the Swedish Security Service, Swedish Tax Agency, Swedish Prosecution Authority, Swedish Customs Service and the Swedish Economic Crime Authority. The list targets criminals wanted for mafia and organized crime, and includes both Swedes and foreign nationals. Although the list is highly classified, copies of the list are reportedly sold among criminals, who authorities fear may use it to find information on criminal rivals and their associates. A most wanted list is a list of criminals and alleged criminals who are believed to be at large and are identified as a law enforcement agency's highest priority for capture. The list can alert the public to be watchful, and generates publicity for the agency. History The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) was the first agency to create a most wanted list. The FBI Ten Most Wanted Fugitives list was inaugurated on March 14, 1950, at the direction of FBI director J. Edgar Hoover. Alcatraz Federal Penitentiary
United States Penitentiary, Alcatraz Island, also known simply as Alcatraz (, ''"the gannet"'') or The Rock was a maximum security federal prison on Alcatraz Island, off the coast of San Francisco, California, United States, the site of a fort since the 1850s; the main prison building was built in 1910–1912 as a United States Army military prison. The United States Department of Justice acquired the United States Disciplinary Barracks, Pacific Branch, on Alcatraz on 12 October 1933. The Swedish Tax Agency ( sv, Skatteverket) is a government agency in Sweden responsible for national tax collection and administering the population registration. The agency was formed on 1 January 2004 through the merger of the Swedish National Tax Board (''Riksskatteverket'') and the then 10 existing regional tax authorities (''skattemyndigheter''). The Swedish Prosecution Authority ( sv, Åklagarmyndigheten) is the principal agency in Sweden responsible for public prosecutions. It is a wholly independent organisation; not dependent on the courts or the police, and although it is organized under the Ministry of Justice it operates independently and any ministerial interference in cases is unconstitutional. Thomas Möller (born 7 June 1964) is a former president of the Hells Angels in Sweden. Möller was one of the founders of the car-and-bike club ''Dirty Dräggels'' in Malmö. The FBI Ten Most Wanted Fugitives is a most wanted list maintained by the United States's Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). The list arose from a conversation held in late 1949 between J. Edgar Hoover, Director of the FBI, and William Kinsey Hutchinson, International News Service (the predecessor of the United Press International) editor-in-chief, who were discussing ways to promote capture of the FBI's "toughest guys". This discussion turned into a published article, which received so much positive publicity that on March 14, 1950, the FBI officially announced the list to increase law enforcement's ability to capture dangerous fugitives.
