Alberto De Rossi
Alberto de Rossi (born 9 September 1957) is an Italian football manager and former player. Serving between 2003 and 2022, he is the longest lasting manager in the history of Roma's U19 side. Career He made his senior debut at 16 for Ostia Mare, and after leaving A.S. Roma’s youth sector, he had a modest career in the lower leagues of Italian football, playing in Serie C, Serie C1, Serie C2 and Interregionale, before retiring in 1992. From 1997 to 2003 he takes the role of manager for many sides of Roma's youth sector, before sitting on the bench of the Primavera side for what has been 18 years now. On 17 July 2021, he renewed his contract with A.S. Roma for another year extending his stay for a 19th season. In June 2022, De Rossi finally left his position as Under-19 manager after 19 years in charge, and was subsequently appointed as the club's new head of youth coach development. The Serie C () is the third-highest division in the Italian football league system after the Serie B and Serie A. The Coppa Italia Primavera (Italian for Spring Italian Cup) is an Italian football competition played by youth teams from Campionato Primavera. All players are under 20 of age. The first edition was held in the 1972–73 season. Due to sponsorship reasons, the cup is officially called Primavera TIMvision Cup. Format The competition is played on a home and away basis. Two elimination rounds are played by the 32 worst clubs. The eight winners are then joined by the eight best clubs in the round of 16. Quarterfinals, semifinals and the finals follow. Daniele De Rossi (; born 24 July 1983) is a former Italian professional footballer who played as a defensive midfielder and is currently manager of side SPAL. He is mostly known for his time playing with his hometown club Roma in Serie A, as well as a former FIFA World Cup-winning Italian international. De Rossi made his professional debut with Roma during the 2001–02 season, and made his Serie A debut the following year.
