Albert Constable
Albert Constable (June 3, 1805 – September 18, 1855) was a US Democratic politician and lawyer. Born near Charlestown, Maryland, Constable studied law and was admitted to the bar in 1829. He was elected as a Democrat to the United States House of Representatives from Maryland and served from March 4, 1845, to March 3, 1847. He was later judge of the circuit court of Maryland in 1851. He died in Camden, New Jersey Camden is a city in and the county seat of Camden County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. Maryland's 5th congressional district comprises all of Charles, St. Mary's, and Calvert counties, as well as portions of Prince George's and Anne Arundel counties. Jacob (; ; ar, يَعْقُوب, Yaʿqūb; gr, Ἰακώβ, Iakṓb), later given the name Israel, is regarded as a patriarch of the Israelites and is an important figure in Abrahamic religions, such as Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. Alexander Evans (American Politician)
Alexander Evans (September 13, 1818 – December 5, 1888) was a U.S. Representative from Maryland. Early life Alexander Evans was born on September 13, 1818 in Elkton, Maryland to Mary (née Oliver) and Amos Alexander Evans. Evans attended the public schools and the local academy at Elkton. He later studied law. He was admitted to the bar in 1845 and commenced practice in his native city. Career Evans was a civil engineer's assistant and was appointed the chief engineer of the Annapolis and Elk Ridge Railroad. Evans was elected as a Whig to the Thirtieth, defeating Richard Carmichael. He then went on to serve in the Thirty-first, and Thirty-second Congresses; serving from March 4, 1847 – March 3, 1853. Jacob Alexander Preston (March 12, 1796 – August 2, 1868) was a U.S. Representative from Maryland. Early life Jacob Alexander Preston was born on March 12, 1796, at the "Vineyard" in Bel Air, Maryland, to Sarah (née Bond) and Bernard Preston. His grandfather was Jacob Bond, a large land owner near Bel Air.
