Albert A. Dye (November 27, 1845 – November 24, 1934) was an American politician who served as the 29th mayor of Madison, Wisconsin, from 1896 to 1897. Dye's daughter married Herbert H. Jape are an Irish electronic–rock band from Dublin. Formed as a side project by Richie Egan whilst part of The Redneck Manifesto, they have released five albums to date; ''Cosmosphere'' (2003), ''The Monkeys in the Zoo Have More Fun Than Me'' (2004), ''Ritual'' (2008), ''Ocean of Frequency'' (2011), and ''This Chemical Sea'' (2015). The Democratic Party of Wisconsin is the affiliate of the Democratic Party in the U.S. state of Wisconsin. It is currently headed by chair Ben Wikler. Important issues for the state party include support for workers and unions, strong public education, and environmental protection. Since the 2010 passage of the Affordable Care Act, Wisconsin Democrats have prioritized fully expanding Medicaid in the state, a policy that Republicans have blocked.
