Alberni Street
Alberni Street is a road in Downtown Vancouver, British Columbia, once considered a nondescript commercial street. In the 2010s, the street transformed into a centre for fine restaurants and high-end luxury retail stores. Beginning with a flagship store for De Beers diamonds that opened in 2013, Alberni Street and its environs are now home to the majority of luxury brands in Vancouver, including Burberry, Escada, Tiffany & Co., Hermes, Louis Vuitton, Christian Dior, Gucci and Ferragamo. Several high-rise condominium buildings have been constructed along the street as well. Burrard Station
Burrard is an underground station on the Expo Line of Metro Vancouver's SkyTrain rapid transit system. The station is located in Downtown Vancouver on Burrard Street, where Melville and Dunsmuir Streets meet, and is the western terminus of the R5 Hastings St that provides service to Simon Fraser University. The station serves Vancouver's financial district and is within walking distance of the Coal Harbour and West End neighbourhoods. Living Shangri-La is a mixed-use skyscraper in downtown Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, and is the tallest building in the city and province. The 62-storey Shangri-La tower contains a 5-star hotel and its offices on the first 15 floors, with condominium apartment units occupying the rest of the tower. Burrard Street
Burrard Street is a major thoroughfare in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. It is the central street of Downtown Vancouver and the Financial District. The street is named for Burrard Inlet, located at its northern terminus, which in turn is named for Sir Harry Burrard-Neale, 2nd Baronet, Sir Harry Burrard-Neale.
