''Albergo Roma'' (''Hotel Rome'') is a 1996 Italian comedy film directed by Ugo Chiti. It was screened at the 53rd Venice International Film Festival, in which Chiti won the Kodak Award. For her performance Lucia Poli won a Nastro d'Argento for best supporting actress. Giorgio Panariello
Giorgio Panariello (born 30 September 1960 in Florence) is an Italian comedian, film and stage actor, director and television presenter. Biography Born in Florence to a father of Campanian origin, he raised in Cinquale, a seaside town in the province of Massa-Carrara. During his high school years in Marina di Massa he became close friend with Carlo Conti, disc jockey and local TV presenter, with whom he started his early career as comedian in Versilia. His very first sketches included a parody of singer Renato Zero, a role which gave him popularity and made him debut in RAI television with his friend Conti in the early 1990s. Novello Novelli (2 March 1930 – 10 January 2018) was an Italian character actor. Life and career Born in Poggibonsi, province of Siena, as Novellantonio Novelli, a former footballer and surveyor, Novelli initially was the manager of the cabaret group "I Giancattivi" consisting of Francesco Nuti, Athina Cenci and Alessandro Benvenuti. In 1981, he made his acting debut in the Giancattivi's film ''West of Paperino'', then, after the group disbanded, Novelli remained associated to Nuti, appearing in almost all his films.
