Alan Soutar
Alan Soutar (born 10 January 1978) is a Scottish professional darts player who competes in the Professional Darts Corporation. He qualified for the 2011 and 2016 BDO World Darts Championship and won a PDC Tour Card in 2021. Personal life Away from darts, Soutar is a firefighter in Dundee as well as training guide dogs in his home with partner Amanda. Soutar is a keen supporter of his local football team Arbroath F.C. Career BDO In November 2011 Alan won the Bellrock Open. He qualified for the 2011 BDO World Darts Championship, he played Willy van de Wiel in the first round and lost 3–1 in sets. In 2013 he won the 2013 WDF World Cup as part of Team Scotland. Arbroath
Arbroath () or Aberbrothock ( gd, Obar Bhrothaig ) is a former royal burgh and the largest town in the council area of Angus, Scotland, with a population of 23,902. Diogo Portela
Diogo Portela (born 12 June 1988) is a Brazilian professional darts player who plays in Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) and World Darts Federation (WDF) events. Career Originally from Rio de Janeiro, Portela first came into prominence in 2015 when he appeared on the Sky1 darts show '' One Hundred and Eighty'', where with the help of James Wade, he won £16,000. His first foray into professional darts was when he tried to win a PDC Tour Card in 2017, but while he failed to do so, he did some other firsts, such as becoming the first Brazilian to win a PDC European Tour match when he defeated Martin Schindler in the first round of the German Darts Championship. Dave Chisnall
Dave Chisnall (born 12 September 1980) is an English professional darts player who plays in Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) events. He began his career in the British Darts Organisation (BDO) and was the runner-up in their World Championship in 2010. He switched to the PDC a year later where he has since reached six major TV finals and won 17 PDC ranking events. Since his switch to the PDC, Chisnall has been a staple in the top 20 of the rankings, appearing in the Premier League five times, and representing England at the PDC World Cup on three occasions. Raymond van Barneveld (born 20 April 1967) is a Dutch professional darts player. Nicknamed Barney, although originally known as The Man, he is one of the most successful darts players in history. Craig Caldwell
Craig Caldwell (born 20 January 1973) is a New Zealand professional darts player who competes in Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) tournaments. His major sponsors are SHOT, L-Style and Clearview Windows Limited. Career Caldwell topped the New Zealand regional table in the 2014/15 season to win a place in the preliminary round of the 2016 BDO World Darts Championship. He previously appeared in televised tournaments in the PDC, competing in the PDC World Cup of Darts in 2013 and 2014, as well as the Auckland Darts Masters, Perth and Sydney Darts masters in 2015. ''The Courier'' (known as ''The Courier & Advertiser'' between 1926 and 2012) is a newspaper published by DC Thomson in Dundee, Scotland. Willy van de Wiel (born 15 April 1982) is a Dutch former professional darts player. BDO career Van de Wiel won the 2008 Norway Open, beating Dave Chisnall, Stephen Bunting and John Henderson, before beating Paul Hanvidge in the final. He also made quarter-final appearances in the Swiss Open and the Welsh Classic. He received a wildcard entry into the 2008 Zuiderduin Masters, replacing Remco van Eijden who withdrew from the tournament to play in the 2009 PDC World Darts Championship. The PDC Pro Tour is a series of non-televised darts tournaments organised by the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC). They comprise Professional Dart Players Association (PDPA) Players Championships and European Tour events. Only four players have gone on to win at least 30 titles on the PDC Pro Tour.
