Al Furjan ( ar, الفرجان) is a rapid transit station on the Red Line of the Dubai Metro in Dubai, UAE, serving Al Furjan and surrounding areas in Jebel Ali. The station opened as part of Route 2020, created to link to Expo 2020 Expo 2020 ( ar, إكسبو 2020) was a World Expo hosted by Dubai, in the United Arab Emirates, from 1 October 2021 to 31 March 2022. Al Furjan is an upscale neighbourhood, gated community, and property development in the Jebel Ali district, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Nakheel Properties heads the development and Azizi Developments owns the largest number of residential buildings. It borders Jebel Ali Village and is near Ibn Battuta Mall, the Gardens, and the site of the Expo 2020, which is one of its major draws. Jebel Ali ( ar, جبل علي) is a port town south-west of Dubai. The Jebel Ali Port is located there. Al Maktoum International Airport has been constructed just outside the port area. The Dubai Metro is a rapid transit rail network in the city of Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It is currently operated by the French company Keolis. Discovery Gardens ( ar, ديسكفري جاردنز) is a neighbourhood in the Jebel Ali district of Dubai, United Arab Emirates. History Discovery Gardens forms the northern part of the Jebel Ali Village area. The original Jebel Ali Village was constructed in 1977 to provide accommodation to construction contractors' staff.
