Al-Izhar Pondok Labu (AIPL) is a moderate Islamic K-12 school in Pondok Labu, South Jakarta, Indonesia. It consists of a kindergarten, primary school, junior secondary school and senior secondary school. It is a National Plus school and the language of instruction is Indonesian. The school's motto is ''Beriman, Mandiri, Kreatif, Nasionalis'' or Pious, Independent, Creative, Nationalist. History AIPL was founded by Bustanil Arifin, a former Minister of Cooperation and Small and Medium Enterprises. It was established in 1974, beginning with its kindergarten program, officially opened by the Minister of Education at the time, Fuad Hassan. The following year, the school opened a primary school. In 1979, the junior secondary school was officially opened by B. J. Habibie, then-Chairman of the Union of Intellectual Indonesian Muslims who later became the third president of Indonesia. K-12
K-1 is a professional kickboxing promotion established in 1993, well known worldwide mainly for its heavyweight division fights and Grand Prix tournaments. In January 2012, K-1 Global Holdings Limited, a company registered in Hong Kong, acquired the rights to K-1, and is the current organizer of K-1 events worldwide. Founded in 1993 by karateka Kazuyoshi Ishii, at its height in the late 90s and the 2000s under the ownership of the Fighting and Entertainment Group (FEG), K-1 was the largest and most prestigious "Kickboxing" organization in the world. With thousands of fighters and watched by millions of fans around the world. RAN (Indonesian Group)
RAN is an Indonesian pop rock band formed in Jakarta, Indonesia in November 2006. The group comprises Rayi Putra Rahardjo (vocals/rap), Astono "Asta" Andoko (guitars), and Anindyo "Nino" Baskoro (vocals), the group name taken from the members' initials. Their music combines elements of jazz, R&B, rock, hip hop, and funk. They released their debut album, ''RAN for Your Life'' in 2007, from which the successful single "Pandangan Pertama" was taken. They also had a hit with "Dekat di Hati". They have gone on to release four more albums. In November 2015 they collaborated with Kahitna on the single "Salamku Untuk Kekasihmu Yang Baru". Puteri Indonesia 2008 (sometimes called Miss Indonesia Universe 2008) is the 13th edition of Puteri Indonesia beauty pageant. The grand final election was held in the Plenary Hall, Jakarta Convention Center, Jakarta, in the evening of 15 August 2008. The event was sponsored by Charles Bonar Sirait, Choky Sitohang (1st runner-up Puteri Indonesia 2004), Nadia Mulya, and Melanie Putria Dewita Sari (Puteri Indonesia 2002). Puteri Indonesia 2008 was won by Zivanna Letisha Siregar (DKI Jakarta 6). She represented Indonesia in Miss Universe 2009 where she failed to enter the Top 15. Aluna Sagita Gutawa (born 11 August 1993), better known as Gita Gutawa, is an Indonesian soprano, actress, and lyricist songwriter. She is also the daughter of composer Erwin Gutawa.
