Al-Falluja Sport Club ( ar, نادي الفلوجة الرياضي), is an Iraqi football team based in Fallujah, Al-Anbar, that plays in Iraqi Second Division League. Stadium The Al-Fallujah Stadium was rehabilitated in 2013 by the Ministry of Youth and Sports, and after this year, ISIS took control of the Al-Fallujah Stadium when it occupied the Al Anbar Governorate. In June 2016, the Iraqi Armed Forces managed to liberate the Fallujah areas, including the stadium. The stadium was reconstructed starting in 2017, Then was vandalized as a result of the families displaced from Syria housing in it, and in 2021 the stadium was rehabilitated again, and the team returned to play on its ground. Al-Fallujah Stadium
Al-Fallujah Stadium ( ar, ملعب الفلوجة) is a multi-purpose stadium in Al-Fallujah, Iraq. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home stadium of Al-Jolan SC. Opened in February 2022, it has a capacity of 7,000 spectators. History Construction started in 2012 and stopped in December 2013 at 93% completion. The stadium turned then into a shelter for Syrian refugee families who fled to Al-Anbar. The stadium suffered various damages such as the scorching of its turf, the breaking of its seats and the deterioration of several of its compartments. After the relocation of the refugees, the government of Al-Anbar announced in 2021 the restoration of the stadium. The 2021–22 Iraq FA Cup is the 33rd edition of the Iraqi knockout football cup competition, the main domestic cup in Iraqi football, featuring a record 168 clubs from the top four tiers of the Iraqi football league system, (20 from the Iraqi Premier League, 24 from the Iraq Division One and 124 from the Iraq Division Two and Iraq Division Three). 2002–03 Iraq FA Cup
The 2002–03 Iraq FA Cup was the 25th edition of the Iraq FA Cup as a clubs-only competition, the main domestic cup in Iraqi football. It kicked off on 2 September 2002, and the final was played on 23 August 2003 at the Franso Hariri Stadium in Erbil rather than at Al-Shaab Stadium in Baghdad due to security reasons. Al-Talaba were the defending champions of the cup having beaten Al-Shorta 1–0 in the 2002 final, and the same was repeated in 2003 as Al-Talaba beat Al-Shorta 1–0 again to earn their second title. The competition was halted for more than six months after the quarter-finals due to the American invasion of Iraq, but the Iraq Football Association decided to complete the tournament, reducing the semi-finals to a single leg and moving the remaining matches to the safer northern city of Erbil. The 2001–02 Iraq FA Cup was the 24th edition of the Iraq FA Cup as a clubs-only competition. The tournament was won by Al-Talaba for the first time in their history, after losing in the final six previous times. They beat Al-Shorta 1–0 in the final, preventing Al-Shorta from completing the cup double. Al-Talaba also won the 2001–02 Iraqi Elite League to complete their first ever double.
