Akwa Ibom State
Akwa Ibom State is a state in the South-South geopolitical zone of Nigeria, bordered on the east by Cross River State, on the west by Rivers State and Abia State, and on the south by the Atlantic Ocean. The state takes its name from the Qua Iboe River which bisects the state before flowing into the Bight of Bonny. Akwa Ibom was split from Cross River State in 1987 with its capital Uyo and with 31 local government areas. Of the 36 states, Akwa Ibom is the 30th largest in area and fifteenth most populous with an estimated population of nearly 5.5 million as of 2016. Geographically, the state is divided between the Central African mangroves in the coastal far south and the Cross–Niger transition forests in the rest of the state. Victor Attah
Obong Victor Bassey Attah (born 20 November 1938) was Governor of Akwa Ibom State in Nigeria from 29 May 1999 to 29 May 2007. He was a member of the Board of Trustees of the People's Democratic Party (PDP), but has since joined the All Progressives Congress. Background Obong Victor Attah was born on 20 November 1938. Mayen Adetiba (born 1954) is a Nigerian actress and civil engineer. Life Adetiba was born in 1954 in Nigeria. She initially wanted to be an accountant, but she then got interested in journalism. She worked on ''The Bar Beach Show'' and she was Lakunle Ojo's wife in the '' Village Headmaster''. She was in ''Kongi's Harvest'' which went out in 1980. She went to the US for her university education where she had to work as her parents could not send her money because of export restrictions.
