Akram Emmanuel (born 1 July 1967) is a former Iraqi football striker who played for Iraq in the 1994 FIFA World Cup qualification. He played for the national team between 1992 and 1993. 1994 FIFA World Cup Qualification
The 1994 FIFA World Cup qualification was a series of tournaments organised by the six FIFA confederations. The 1994 FIFA World Cup featured 24 teams with one place reserved for the host nation, United States, and one place for the defending champions, Germany. The remaining 22 places were determined by a qualification process, in which 147 teams, from the six FIFA confederations, competed. 1991–92 Iraqi National League
The 1991–92 Iraqi National Clubs First Division was the 18th season of the competition since its foundation in 1974. The competition started on 3 October 1991 and ended on 26 June 1992. The league title was won by Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya, earning their third Premier League title. Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya clinched the title on the final day of the season with a 1–0 win against Al-Zawraa, which was controversial due to Al-Zawraa having a goal ruled out for offside that would have won them the league if it was counted. Jawiya also won the Iraq FA Cup in this season to secure their first ever national double. Al-Khutoot (known as Al-Tayaran at the time) made their debut in the top division. Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya ( ar, نادي القوة الجوية الرياضي, lit=Air Force Club) is an Iraqi sports club based in Rusafa District, Baghdad that competes in the Iraqi Premier League, the top-flight of Iraqi football. Chengdu Sports Centre
The Chengdu Sports Center () or Sichuan Provincial Sports Center () is a sports complex with a multiuse stadium in Chengdu, China which is used mostly for soccer matches. The stadium holds 39,225 and opened on 28 December 1991; it was the home of the Chengdu Blades, a soccer club in China League One, the second tier of the Chinese soccer pyramid.
