Akkarayan (Tamil language, Tamil: அக்கராயன்) was one of the Tamil chiefs of Vanni Nadu, who ruled over Akkarayan region around 13th century. Tamil (; ' , ) is a Dravidian language natively spoken by the Tamil people of South Asia.
