Akinola Aguda
Akinola Aguda (1923 – 5 September 2001) was a Yoruba Nigerian jurist and a former Chief Justice of Botswana. Prior to becoming Chief Justice, he was a lawyer and a High Court judge in Nigeria's Western Region. He was the first indigenous African to head the position of Chief Justice in Botswana. Throughout his legal career, he was known as a cerebral jurist and lawyer, who embraced radicalism especially during period of military rule in Nigeria. Akinola Deko
Gabriel Akinola Deko (30 October 1913 – 5 November 1987) was a Nigerian building contractor and former regional Minister for Agriculture in the Western region of Nigeria, he was also a personal friend of Awolowo. As minister, he was involved in the promotion of an agriculture settlement scheme that would employ and pay an initial amount of capital to new graduates from an established agriculture training college. The graduates would engage in farming. This settlement scheme was borrowed from an Israeli agriculture development scheme, Moshav. The scheme was partly initiated to arrest a tide in the movement of young men and women to the urban areas where farming is hardly a career choice. Akinola Maja
Chief Akinola Maja was a Nigerian medical doctor, businessman, philanthropist and politician who was president of the Nigerian Youth Movement from 1944 to 1951. He later became president of the Egbe Omo Oduduwa in 1953. Chief Maja held the chieftaincy titles of the Baba Eko (''Father of Lagos'' in Yorùbá) and the Jagunmolu of Orile-Ijaiye. A medical doctor by training, he graduated in 1918 from the University of Edinburgh in Edinburgh, Scotland, and stayed in the U.K. for the next three years before returning to Nigeria in 1921.
