Aishah Ahmad
Aishah Ndanusa Ahmad, CFA, is a Nigerian policymaker and finance professional. She is currently a Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria having been appointed on 6 October 2017, replacing Sarah Alade, who retired in March 2017. She was confirmed by the Nigerian Senate on 22 March 2018. Background and education Aishah was born in Lagos, to a Nupe Muslim family from Bida, on 26 October 1976. She attended St. Catherine's Primary School, Surulere Lagos, and Zarumai Primary School, Minna Niger State, before proceeding to Federal Government Girls’ College, Bida, for her secondary education. Monique Nsanzabaganwa is a Rwandan economist, politician and diplomat, who has served as the vice-chairperson of the African Union Commission, effective 6 February 2021. Before that, between 2011 and 2021, she served as the deputy governor of the National Bank of Rwanda. Edward Lametek Adamu is a Nigerian quantity surveyor, business consultant and leadership strategist. He is the Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, the country's central bank. History The establishment of WIMBIZ was conceptualized by Chichi Okonjo, the only man among the founding members of the organization.
