Aires Puros is a ''barrio'' (neighbourhood or district) of Montevideo, Uruguay. Location It borders Lavalleja and Paso de las Duranas to the northwest, Casavalle to the northeast, Cerrito and Brazo Oriental to the southeast, Atahualpa and Prado to the southeast. Its northwest border is the Miguelete creek with Millan Avenue crossing it over the historic ''Paso de las Duranas'' bridge. Just south of the bridge, is the northeast end of Prado park, where the famous Juan Manuel Blanes Museum and the Japanese Garden are located. Across them is the Parque Posadas residential complex of buildings. Prado is a ''barrio'' (neighbourhood or district) and a major public park in Montevideo, Uruguay. Together with Nueva Savona, they form the Prado - Nueva Savona composite barrio. Prado is also the name given to all the park areas on both sides of Miguelete Creek, limited by the bridge of Agraciada Avenue over the river to the south and by Millan Avenue to the northeast. The Dominican Sisters of the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin or Dominican Sisters of the Anunciata constitute a Catholic religious congregation of apostolic life and pontifical right, founded in Vic (Catalonia, Spain) by the Dominican religious, Francisco Coll, on August 15, 1856. History The decision to found this Congregation arises from Francisco Coll (1812-1875), a Dominican religious who dedicated himself to the Popular Missions. He, moved by the social and religious reality he observed in the course of his missions, began to worry about the lack of access to education, especially in small towns and girls. In turn, he knew several young women who wanted to consecrate themselves to God as religious, but because of their poverty they did not have easy entry into the monasteries of the time, which demanded an economic dowry. Parque Posadas
The Parque Posadas (''Posadas Park'', in English) is a large apartments' complex placed in the geographical centre of Montevideo, Uruguay. It was built between 1969 and 1973, their firsts apartments were given that same year, although the official inauguration of the complex was August 25, 1975. It has a communal hall, a library, a shopping mall and a school. On the Parque Posadas environs there are many residences and old houses, a highschool, and several commerces, like bakeries, restaurants, ice cream shops and a big supermarket. The complex is formed by 10 blocks of buildings, each one of which are formed, as well, by 6 or 7 towers of 13, 14 or 15 floors, depending on the inclination of its internal streets. Juan Manuel Blanes Municipal Museum of the Arts ( es, Museo de Bellas Artes Juan Manuel Blanes) is a museum in Prado, Montevideo, Uruguay. Location and history The Juan Manuel Blanes Municipal Museum of the Arts is located at Avenida Millan 4015, in the neighbourhood of Prado, Montevideo, in a Palladian villa designated a National Heritage Site in 1975. The villa was originally designed in 1870 by Juan Alberto Capurro, an engineer trained at the Turin Polytechnic, for the then-owner Dr. Juan Battista Raffo. The surrounding garden reveals elements of French landscape design. The municipality acquired the villa in 1929, when it commissioned the architect Eugenio Baroffio to renovate and expand the building. Baroffio maintained the eclecticism of the original design, leaving the facade intact. The museum was founded in 1930, coinciding with the 100th anniversary of the first Constitution of Uruguay, and named after the patriotic Uruguayan artist, Juan Manuel Blanes.
