Ainoa (shopping Centre)
Ainoa is a shopping centre located in Tapiola, Espoo, Finland. Its first phase was opened on 24 October 2013 in a 1979 building that housed the Tapiola Sokos department house until 2011. During the renovation, the building was extended both upwards and downwards. Ainoa has five floors and about 100 shops, such as K-supermarket, Little Bouquet Factory, Stockmann, Alko, H&M, Clas Ohlson, Cubus, Stadium, BR-Lelut and Kultajousi. The parking hall in connection with Ainoa has approximately 450 parking spaces. Ainoa has good bus connections to other parts of Espoo and the neighbouring city of Helsinki. ''Ainoa'' is a genus of lichens in the family Baeomycetaceae. The genus contains two species: '' A. mooreana'', and the type, '' A. geochroa''. The genus was circumscribed in 2001 by H. Thorsten Lumbsch and Imke Schmitt to contain the two species, which were formerly placed in genus ''Trapelia ''Trapelia'' is a genus of lichenized fungi in the family Trapeliaceae Trapeliaceae is a family of lichens in the order Baeomycetales. Länsimetro
Länsimetro (English: Western Metro, Swedish: Västmetron) is an extension to the Helsinki Metro system in Finland. The grand opening for the long-awaited extension was held on 18 November 2017. Länsimetro extends the system's two lines, M1 and M2, from Central Helsinki to the neighbouring city of Espoo. The new stretch continues the lines from the existing Ruoholahti station via the island of Lauttasaari, the Aalto University Otaniemi campus and Tapiola, the terminus of line M2. Line M1 continues further west to Matinkylä. Unlike previous extensions to the Helsinki Metro system, Länsimetro runs entirely underground. Alko
Alko Inc is the national alcoholic beverage retailing monopoly in Finland. It is the only store in the country which retails beer over 5.5% ABV, wine (except in vineyards) and spirits. Alcoholic beverages are also sold in licensed restaurants and bars but only for consumption on the premises. Alko is required by law to sell drinks with lower alcohol content than 5.5% and non-alcoholic alternatives, but in practice carries a very limited stock of low alcohol beer, cider and non-alcoholic drinks and others as supermarkets are allowed to sell those at a substantially lower price.
