Ratlam Railway Division
Ratlam railway division is one of the six railway divisions under Western Railway zone of Indian Railways. This railway division was formed on 1 April 1952 and its headquarter is located at Ratlam in the state of Madhya Pradesh of India. The Broad gauge portion extends from Godhra to Bhopal, Ujjain to Dr. Ambedkar Nagar and Dr. Ambedkar Nagar–Fatehabad–Ratlam–Chanderia, Maksi Dewas & Khandwa Cabin to Nimarkheri. The metre-gauge portion of the division extends from Dr. Ambedkar Nagar railway station to Omkareshwar Road railway station. The division has the longest and steepest gradients of 1:150 on broad gauge between Limkheda and Rentia stations of Ratlam–Godhra section. Churchgate
Churchgate (Marathi pronunciation: ͡ʃəɾt͡ʃɡeːʈ is an area in South Mumbai. During the eighteenth and up to the mid-19th century, Mumbai was a walled city. The city walls had three gates, and Churchgate, named after St. Thomas Cathedral, Mumbai was one of the gates. The gate was situated near the present day location of Flora Fountain. In the mid-19th century, the city walls were torn down to aid in the expansion program. Arabian Sea is situated at west and Nariman Point on south of Churchgate. Sabarmati Junction
Sabarmati Junction railway station is a junction station of the Indian Western Railway in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. The station is from the main Ahmedabad Junction railway station on the Ahmedabad–Delhi main line, at Dharamnagar near the Sabarmati Ashram. Sabarmati Junction has 2 tracks, the Mehsana line, and the Botad line, in addition to the main broad-gauge line for trains departing from Ahmedabad. Mahesana Railway Station
Mahesana Junction railway station (also spelt Mehsana unofficially) is located in Mehsana district in the Indian state of Gujarat. It serves the city of Mehsana. History Rajputana State Railway extended the metre-gauge Delhi–Ajmer line to Ahmedabad in 1881. In 1880, the Government of Bombay addressed His Highness’ Government of Baroda State for the construction of feeder lines in Kadi after the completion of Dabhoi Railway. In Kadi, a network of railway line was spread out. The Government of Bombay and the government of Baroda State, sanctioned the Mehsana–Viramgam line in 1889.
