Ahd Bloc ( ar, كتلة العهد) was a joint list of Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine, Palestinian Popular Struggle Front, Arab Liberation Front and independents for the May 2005 municipal elections in Bethlehem, the West Bank. Democratic Front For The Liberation Of Palestine
The Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine (DFLP; ar, الجبهة الديموقراطية لتحرير فلسطين, ''al-Jabha al-Dīmūqrāṭiyya li-Taḥrīr Filasṭīn'') is a secular Palestinian Marxist–Leninist organization. It is also frequently referred to as the Democratic Front, or al-Jabha al-Dīmūqrāṭiyya (). It is a member organization of the Palestine Liberation Organization, the Alliance of Palestinian Forces and the Democratic Alliance List. The group maintains a paramilitary wing called the ''National Resistance Brigades''. One of the attacks for which the DFLP is best known is the 1974 Ma'alot massacre in which 25 schoolchildren and teachers were killed. Palestinian Popular Struggle Front
The Palestinian Popular Struggle Front (PPSF, occasionally abbr. PSF), (Arabic: جبهة النضال الشعبي الفلسطيني, ''Jabhet Al-Nedal Al-Sha'abi Al-Falestini''), is a Palestinian political party. Samir Ghawshah was elected secretary-general of PPSF in 1971 and led it until his death in 2009. He was succeeded by Ahmed Majdalani on 8 August 2009. PPSF holds a seat on the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) executive council, though it is generally considered to have a limited influence over Palestinian politics. Arab Liberation Front ( ar, جبهة التحرير العربية ''Jabhet Al-Tahrir Al-'Arabiyah'') is a minor Palestinian political party, previously controlled by the Iraqi-led Ba'ath Party, formed in 1969 by Ahmed Hassan al-Bakr and then headed by Saddam Hussein. Beit Jala ( ar, ) is a Palestinian Christian town in the Bethlehem Governorate of the West Bank.
