Marisol Calero (born 13 September 1963) is a Puerto Rican actress and singer. Early years Calero was born in Ponce, Puerto Rico, on 13 September 1963. As a child, Calero participated in school performances at the Academia del Perpetuo Socorro and briefly in the San Juan Children's Choir. As a teenager she attended the Escuela Libre de Música (Free School of Music) in San Juan where she continued to participate in the dramatic arts. She studied singing from the age of 14 under the sopranos Rina de Toledo, Vilna Echenique and Darysabel Isales. Theatrical career She started her professional career with a ''fino'' performance in a poetic musical, accompanied by her mother, the actress and politician Marta Font. Mara Croatto (born February 2, 1969) is a retired Venezuelan-born Puerto Rican actress. Early years Croatto is the daughter of Argentine actress Raquel Montero and Italian Argentine folk singer, Tony Croatto. Shortly after birth in Caracas, Venezuela, her parents decided to move and resettle in Puerto Rico. She was raised and educated in San Juan. Clara Zully Montero (; born January 25, 1944) is a Cuban actress who has worked in television, film, and theatre. Biography Montero was born in Santo Suarez, Cuba. At the age of 11, Montero gathered a group of friends and created her own plays, which were presented to family and friends. Her mother noticed her interest in performing, and placed her in La Academia De Arte Dramatico De La Habana (School of Dramatic Arts in Havana, Cuba).
