Agioi Iliofotoi
Agioi Iliofotoi or Eliophotes ( el, Άγιοι Ηλιόφωτοι; tr, Alifodez is "olive orchard") was a village in the Nicosia District of Cyprus, east of Kato Moni. Agioi Iliofotoi was inhabited exclusively by Turkish Cypriots. It was abandoned in 1964 when they all sought refuge in Nicosia Nicosia ( ; el, Λευκωσία, Lefkosía ; tr, Lefkoşa ; hy, Նիկոսիա, romanized: ''Nikosia''; Cypriot Arabic: Nikusiya) is the largest city, capital, and seat of government of Cyprus. In 1960, it had a population of 91. , 60 people were living in the Agioi Iliofotoi administrative unit (community), none of whom were Cypriot citizens. 45 were EU citizens, five of whom female. Nicosia District
Nicosia District (Greek: Eπαρχία Λευκωσίας) is one of the six districts of Cyprus. Its main town is the island country's capital city, Nicosia. The TRNC-controlled northern part of the district is the Lefkoşa District of the unrecognized Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. TRNC-controlled areas of the Larnaca District of the Republic of Cyprus are administered as part of Nicosia District, while western parts of the Nicosia District under de facto TRNC control are administered as part of the new Güzelyurt and Lefke Districts.
