The Agimat ng Masa (), also known as the Agimat Partylist, is a political organization seeking party-list representation in the House of Representatives of the Philippines. Background The Agimat ng Masa was formally established as a social organization in 2011 by actor-politician Ramon Revilla Sr. It has been conducting programs for the needy and disaster victims prior to its registration as a partylist organization. This includes health, livelihood, and education programs. Electoral history 2022 elections Agimat participated in the 2022 elections, vying to win at least a seat in the House of Representatives. Ramon Revilla Sr
Ramon Bautista Revilla Sr. (born Jose Acuña Bautista; March 8, 1927 – June 26, 2020), popularly known simply as Ramon Revilla Sr., was a Filipino actor who served as Senator of the Republic of the Philippines. He was known as the "''Hari ng Agimat''" (literally "King of Amulets") in Philippine films. Education Revilla graduated in Far Eastern University wherein he finished his bachelor's degree in commerce. Film career In his initial entry to the film industry, the young Revilla was cast only in bit roles which was not enough for him so he left the film industry to become head of the Secret Service Unit of the Bureau of Customs in 1965. Bacoor, Cavite
Bacoor (), officially the City of Bacoor ( fil, Lungsod ng Bacoor), is a 1st class component city in the province of Cavite, Philippines. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 664,625 people, making it the 15th most populous city in the Philippines and the second largest city in the province of Cavite after Dasmariñas. Ramon Bautista Bong Revilla Jr. (; born Jose Mari Bautista; September 25, 1966) and commonly known as Bong Revilla, is a Filipino actor, television presenter and politician serving as a Senator since 2019, and previously from 2004 to 2016. The son of actor-politician Ramon Revilla Sr., he himself became an action star in the 1980s and 1990s as Ramon "Bong" Revilla Jr. He started his political career in Cavite, serving as vice governor (1995–1998) and later governor (1998–2001).
