Agence Vu, (stylised as Agence VU and Agence VU') is a photography agency established in 1986 that has headquarters on Rue Saint-Lazare in Paris. Stanley Greene
Stanley Greene (February 14, 1949 – May 19, 2017) was an American photojournalist. Life and career Greene was born to middle class parents in Brooklyn. Both his parents were actors. His father, who was born in Harlem, was a union organizer, one of the first African Americans elected as an officer in the Screen Actors Guild, and belonged to the Harlem Renaissance movement. Greene's father was blacklisted as a Communist in the 1950s and forced to take uncredited parts in movies. Greene's parents gave him his first camera when he was eleven years old. Greene began his art career as a painter, but started taking photos as a means of cataloging material for his paintings. In 1971, when Greene was a member of the anti–Vietnam War movement and the Black Panther Party, his friend photographer W. Musée D'Orsay
The Musée d'Orsay ( , , ) ( en, Orsay Museum) is a museum in Paris, France, on the Left Bank of the Seine. It is housed in the former Gare d'Orsay, a Beaux-Arts railway station built between 1898 and 1900. The museum holds mainly French art dating from 1848 to 1914, including paintings, sculptures, furniture, and photography. Vanessa Winship
Vanessa Winship HonFRPS (born 1960) is a British photographer who works on long term projects of portrait, landscape, reportage and documentary photography. These personal projects have predominantly been in Eastern Europe but also the USA. Winship's books include ''Schwarzes Meer'' (2007), ''Sweet Nothings'' (2008) and ''She Dances on Jackson'' (2013). Munem Wasif
Munem Wasif ( bn, মুনেম ওয়াসিফ) (born 11 April 1983) is a photographer from Bangladesh. Biography Munem Wasif is a documentary photographer in Bangladesh. He has been represented by Agence Vu since 2008, and is now teaching documentary photography at Pathshala South Asian Media Academy. He was selected for the World Press Photo Joop Swart Masterclass in 2007. In 2008, he won the City of Perpignan Young Reporter's Award at Visa pour l'image. Darcy Padilla
Darcy Marie Padilla (born 1965) is an American documentary and photojournalist who specializes in contemporary issues and long-term projects and is the recipient of three World Press Photo award for her work "The Julie Project". Personal background Padilla was born and raised in Northern California. She took up photography at the age of 12 when she got her first SLR camera and was editor for her school yearbook. She earned a BA in journalism and writing from San Francisco State University and an MFA from UC Davis. She started out as a photo intern at The New York Times, but turned a staff job to pursue an independent career and her own documentary projects. She resides in San Francisco, CA and Madison, WI.
