"Age of Ultron" (abbreviated AU) is a 2013 comic book fictional crossover storyline published by Marvel Comics that involved the conquest of the Earth by the sentient robot tyrant Ultron. The storyline consisted of an eponymous, 10-issue core miniseries, and a number of tie-in books. The storyline was published between March and June 2013 and featured a storyline by Brian Michael Bendis. Artist Bryan Hitch provided the art for issues one through five, and Brandon Peterson for issues six through nine. Other artists who contributed to the series include Carlos Pacheco and Joe Quesada, the latter of whom drew part of the final issue. Marvel stated that all art for the series was completed before it was solicited, ensuring deadlines were met and that there were no more than thirteen tie-ins to the four-month event. Bryan Hitch
Bryan Hitch (born 22 April 1970) is a British comics artist and writer. Hitch began his career in the United Kingdom for Marvel UK, working on titles such as ''Action Force'' and ''Death's Head'', before gaining prominence on American titles such as Wildstorm's ''Stormwatch'' and '' The Authority'', DC Comics' '' JLA'', and Marvel Comics' ''The Ultimates''. Hitch's artwork and designs have appeared in direct-to-video animated films, television, and major feature films, such as the 2009 film ''Star Trek'', for which he has been praised by director J. J. Abrams. Early life Bryan Hitch was born 22 April 1970 in what he described as "in the far northern reaches of England." Thomas John Palmer (July 13, 1941 – August 18, 2022) was an American comic book artist best known as an inker for Marvel Comics. Biography Although Tom Palmer created a small amount of penciling work (as well as some cover art and some coloring), the vast majority of his artistic output since the 1960s was as a comic book inker. The Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) is an American media franchise and shared universe centered on a series of superhero films produced by Marvel Studios. ''Cataclysm: The Ultimates' Last Stand'' was a 2013 comic book crossover, set within the Ultimate Marvel imprint. Editorial history ''Cataclysm'' is a sequel to the ''Age of Ultron'' crossover, set in the mainstream Marvel Universe. At the end of that story, Galactus is displaced to the Ultimate Marvel universe. Unlike the Ultimate Galactus Trilogy, this is the character from the mainstream universe, and not a reimagination. The story was published in two parts, "''Hunger''", set in space, and "''The Ultimates' Last Stand''", set in Earth. The second part has tie-ins with the three ongoing Ultimate Marvel comics at the time, Ultimate Comics: Spider-Man, Ultimate Comics: X-Men and Ultimate Comics: The Ultimates. Morgan le Fay is a supervillain appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. The character, created by Stan Lee and Joe Maneely, is loosely based on the Morgan le Fay of Arthurian legend.
