Ted Robinson (TV Director)
Ted Robinson (born 1944) is an Australian television producer and director who is best known for his work and a director and producer of live TV comedy. Career Robinson began his TV career at the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, working on ''The Aunty Jack Show'', under the tutelage of series director Maurice M. Murphy. His TV directorial debut was in 1973, with the ABC sitcom '' Our Man in the Company''. In 1974 he took over from Murphy as director of the two Aunty Jack spinoff series, ''Wollongong the Brave'' and '' Flash Nick from Jindavik''. During the late 1970s he also co-hosted a regular radio show on Double Jay (2JJ) in Sydney, with actor Lex Marinos. Alma De Groen
Alma De Groen is an Australian feminist playwright, born in New Zealand on 5 September 1941. Biography Alma Margaret Mathers, born in Manawatu, grew up in Mangakino, a small township founded to serve a hydro-electric power station in the North Island of New Zealand. Her earliest experience of theatre was being taken, as a high school student, to a New Zealand Players production of '' Saint Joan'', which starred Edith Campion, the mother of Jane Campion, as Saint Joan. This, along with a tiny local library which contained works by Shaw and Wilde, began her interest in theatre. In 1964 she moved to Australia and through the artist Geoffrey De Groen, whom she married in 1965, Alma De Groen was introduced to the film maker Sandy Harbutt, who read her first play, ''The Sweatproof Boy''. Diane Mary Craig (born 1949), sometimes credited as Di Craig, is a Northern Irish-born Australian actress best known for her performances in film and television. She was born in County Down, and since 1971 has been married to award-winning Australian actor and comedian Garry McDonald. Career Film She attended the prestigious National Institute of Dramatic Arts (NIDA), but left after a year, making her debut in 1970 starring in the British Australian feature film ''Ned Kelly'' (1970), alongside Mick Jagger. Penne Hackforth-Jones (5 August 194917 May 2013) was an American-born Australian actress and biographer. Early life Penelope Beatrix Hackforth-Jones was born in August 1949 in Greenwich, Connecticut, to Paul and Susan Felicity (née Gullett) Hackforth-Jones and was a granddaughter of Sir Henry Gullett and niece of Jo Gullett, both Australian politicians. She lived with her family in England before relocating to Australia in 1964. After completing her secondary education at St Catherine's School, Toorak in 1966 she attended the National Institute of Dramatic Art in Sydney until graduating in 1968. Grigor Weston Taylor also known as Greg Taylor, is an Australian former actor, best known for his parts in several television series including ''Matlock Police'' and ''Glenview High''. Early life, education and teacher Taylor was born in Penrith, New South Wales and attended Penrith High School. After finishing school, he became an English teacher.
