Adult Jazz
Adult Jazz is an English experimental rock band. History Adult Jazz was established in 2010 at the University of Leeds. Members Tim Slater, Harry Burgess and Steven Wells are all originally from Guildford. In 2013, they released a 12" vinyl single; In 2014 the band released their debut full-length album titled ''Gist Is'' on Spare Thought. The album had a positive critical reception, with David Peschek, writing in The Quietus, positioning it "at the sharpest edge of the expression of queer experience in pop music" The record caught the ear of other artists: cellist Oliver Coates covered the album's opener Hum; Bjork attended a 2014 show in Reykjavík, later writing about the experience for Art in America magazine; Shabazz Palaces remixed their single Springful; and the group were invited to play 2015's Meltdown festival at the Royal Festival Hall, curated by David Byrne. David Byrne

Indie rock is a subgenre of rock music that originated in the United States, United Kingdom and New Zealand from the 1970s to the 1980s. Originally used to describe independent record labels, the term became associated with the music they produced and was initially used interchangeably with alternative rock or " guitar pop rock". One of the primary scenes of the movement was Dunedin, where a cultural scene based around a convergence of noise pop and jangle became popular among the city's large student population. Daniel Lopatin (born July 25, 1982), best known as Oneohtrix Point Never or OPN, is an American experimental electronic music producer, composer, singer and songwriter. His music has experimented with tropes from various music genres and eras, sample-based song structures, and elaborate MIDI production. He began releasing synth-based recordings in the mid-2000s and received initial acclaim for the 2009 compilation '' Rifts'', as well as the influential vaporwave release ''Chuck Person's Eccojams Vol. 1'' (2010). Moses Sumney is a Ghanaian-American singer-songwriter. His self-recorded EP, ''Mid-City Island'', was released in 2014. He released another five-song EP in 2016, titled ''Lamentations''. His first full-length album, ''Aromanticism'', was released in September 2017. His second studio album, ''Græ'', was released in 2020. Sumney has performed as an opening act for James Blake, Solange Knowles, and Sufjan Stevens. ''Keep On Pushing'' is a studio album by the Impressions, released on ABC-Paramount in 1964. This was the group's biggest hit album ever, reaching number 8 on the ''Billboard'' 200 chart, the band's highest position on the chart, and number 4 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. The title track, " Keep On Pushing," reached number 10 on the ''Billboard'' Hot 100 chart and number 1 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart. Production "Amen" was an African-American spiritual arranged and sung by Jester Hairston for the 1963 film '' Lilies of the Field'', starring Sidney Poitier. Kaya Wilkins (born August 14, 1990), better known as Okay Kaya, is a Norwegian-American musician from New Jersey. History Wilkins was born in New Jersey and raised in Nesoddtangen, 4 miles outside of Oslo. Raised by her mother along with 5 brothers, she has both Scandinavian and African American roots. She has released eight solo albums, two under the alias Rockettothesky and six under her own name.
