Adriatic Croatia
Adriatic Croatia ( hr, Jadranska Hrvatska) or Littoral Croatia ( hr, Primorska Hrvatska) is one of the four NUTS-2 Regions of Croatia since 2021. The region forms the coastal part of the country. The five most populated cities in the region are Split, Rijeka, Zadar, Pula and Šibenik. It accounts for 44% of the country's territory and 33% of the population. Nomenclature of Territorial Units for Statistics or NUTS (french: Nomenclature des unités territoriales statistiques) is a geocode standard for referencing the subdivisions of countries for statistical purposes. The standard, adopted in 2003, is developed and regulated by the European Union, and thus only covers the member states of the EU in detail. The Nomenclature of Territorial Units for Statistics is instrumental in the European Union's Structural Funds and Cohesion Fund delivery mechanisms and for locating the area where goods and services subject to European public procurement legislation are to be delivered. Purchasing power parity (PPP) is the measurement of prices in different countries that uses the prices of specific goods to compare the absolute purchasing power of the countries' currencies. PPP is effectively the ratio of the price of a basket of goods at one location divided by the price of the basket of goods at a different location. The PPP inflation and exchange rate may differ from the market exchange rate because of tariffs, and other transaction costs. Rijeka

Šibenik () is a historic city in Croatia, located in central Dalmatia, where the river Krka flows into the Adriatic Sea. The subdivisions of Croatia on the first level are the 20 counties (''županija'', pl. ''županije'') and one city-county ('' grad'', "city"). On the second level these are municipalities ('' općina'', pl. ''općine'') and cities (''grad'', pl. ''gradovi''). Both of these types of subdivisions encompass one or multiple settlements (''naselje'', pl.
