Adolfo Machado
Adolfo Abdiel Machado (born 14 February 1985) is a Panamanian professional footballer who plays as a defender for Liga FPD club San Carlos. Club career Around July 2008 Machado travelled to Colombia to play with Copa Mustang side Envigado along with U-23 teammate Armando Cooper. However the transfer failed and had to return to Panama to continue with Alianza. In December 2008 he was signed by Guatemalan side Deportivo Marquense. In May 2010 he joined Honduran side Marathón and in December 2010 Machado moved to Guatemalan top club Comunicaciones. He would help Comunicaciones win the 2011 Clausura. Doping case and suspension In February 2012, Machado, alongside Comunicaciones teammates Fredy Thompson and Marvin Ceballos, was temporarily suspended from playing by FIFA after a positive test on the banned substance boldenone. Panama National Football Team
The Panama national football team ( es, Selección de fútbol de Panamá) represents Panama in men's international football and is governed by the Panamanian Football Federation. The team represents all three FIFA, CONCACAF and the regional UNCAF. Panama qualified for the FIFA World Cup for the first time for the 2018 tournament in Russia and scored their first goal of the World Cup against England, although they lost the match 6–1. They finished bottom of their group. Panama finished as runners-up in the 2005 Gold Cup and 2013 Gold Cup, losing to the United States on both occasions. Armando Cooper
Armando Enrique Cooper Whitaker (born 26 November 1987) is a Panamanian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Israeli club Maccabi Petah Tikva and the Panama national team. Club career Cooper began his career in the youth ranks of Panama's Árabe Unido. In 2006, he debuted for the professional side, and went on to help the team to achieve various domestic titles in the Liga Panameña de Fútbol. During January 2011 it was reported that Major League Soccer side New York Red Bulls were interested in signing Cooper. However, the transfer did not go through. 2008 CONCACAF Men's Pre-Olympic Tournament
The 2008 CONCACAF Men's Olympic Qualification was the twelfth edition of the CONCACAF Men's Olympic Qualifying, the quadrennial, international, age-restricted football tournament organised by CONCACAF to determine which men's under-23 national teams from the North, Central America and Caribbean region qualify for the Olympic football tournament. The MLS Cup Playoffs is the annual postseason elimination tournament of Major League Soccer. The final match of the tournament is the MLS Cup, the league's championship game. Seattle Sounders Football Club is an American professional men's soccer club based in Seattle. The Sounders compete as a member of the Western Conference of Major League Soccer (MLS). The 2012–13 Liga Nacional de Fútbol de Guatemala season was the 14th season in which the Apertura and Clausura season is used. The season began on 15 July 2012 and ended in May 2013. Comunicaciones won both the Apertura and Clausura tournaments. Format The format for both championships are identical. Each championship will have two stages: a first stage and a playoff stage. The first stage of each championship is a double round-robin format. The teams that finishes 1 and 2 in the standings will advance to the playoffs semifinals, while the teams that finish 3–6 will enter in the quarterfinals. Boldenone (developmental code name RU-18761), is a naturally occurring anabolic–androgenic steroid (AAS) and the 1(2)- dehydrogenated analogue of testosterone. Marvin José Ceballos Flores (born 22 April 1992) is a Guatemalan professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Liga Nacional club Xinabajul and the Guatemala national team. Career Comunicaciones Ceballos made his professional debut with C.S.D. Comunicaciones of the Liga Nacional de Fútbol de Guatemala on 21 August 2011 against Xelajú. He started the match and earned a yellow card as Comunicaciones lost 1–0. He made his international club debut three days later in the CONCACAF Champions League against Costa Rican side, Herediano. Fredy Williams Thompson León (born June 2, 1982 in Puerto Barrios, Izabal) is a Guatemalan former professional footballer. Club career Thompson started his career at Guatemalan giants Comunicaciones where he would stay for 7 years and captain the side.
