Administration For Security And Counterintelligence
The Administration for Security and Counterintelligence ( mk, Управа за безбедност и контраразузнавање), commonly referred to by the acronym UBK, was the domestic counterintelligence and security agency of North Macedonia. Its headquarters are located in Skopje, and the agency is under jurisdiction of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The agency was founded in the People's Republic of Macedonia under the name Department for People's Protection OZNA, as the official security agency in the Macedonian socialist republic. Officially, the Administration for Security and Counterintelligence, was founded in 1995 under the name Directorate for Security and Counterintelligence. The State Security Service ( hr, Služba državne sigurnosti, sr, Служба државне безбедности; mk, Служба за државна безбедност; sl, Služba državne varnosti), also known by its original name as the State Security Administration, was the secret police organization of Communist Yugoslavia. Sašo Mijalkov
Sašo Mijalkov (born 15 September 1965) was the ninth director of the Administration for Security and Counterintelligence (UBK) of the Republic of Macedonia. Family Sašo Mijalkov is the son of Jordan Mijalkov, the first Interior Minister of the Republic of Macedonia. He is first cousin of Nikola Gruevski the ex Prime Minister of the Republic of Macedonia. He is married to Aleksandra Mijalkova. In June 2014 he became the godfather of Zarko Lukovski current Executive Director of T-Mobile Macedonia. Education Mijalkov holds an Economy degree from Ss. Cyril and Methodius University of Skopje and a master's degree from Prague University. The Democratic Alternative (, ''Demokratska Alternativa'') or DA is a centrist political party in North Macedonia. The Democratic Alternative was formed in March 1998 by Vasil Tupurkovski, charismatic member of the last Presidency of the former Yugoslavia. Prior to the 1998 elections, DA entered into a coalition with VMRO-DPMNE with which it won the elections and formed a ruling government.
