Adi Bielski
Adi Bielski ( he, עדי בילסקי; born January 28, 1982) is an Israeli theatre and movie actress. She was born in Jerusalem and raised in Ra’anana. Education When she was only 3 years old, Bielski took up dancing in a dance studio and during the following 15 years she danced ballet and modern dance in the studio’s group. She also took drama classes as a child and studied in the theatre program in High School. When she was 18, Bielski was drafted to the Israel Defense Forces and served as an Education Officer and later as a commander in a course for Education NCOs. Between 2004 through 2007 Bielski studied acting in "SELA – The Performing Arts Studio Founded by Yoram Loewenstein", one of Israel’s leading acting schools, located in Tel Aviv. Ray Cooney
Raymond George Alfred Cooney, OBE (born 30 May 1932) is an English playwright, actor, and director. His biggest success, '' Run for Your Wife'' (1983), ran for nine years in London's West End and is its longest-running comedy. He has had 17 of his plays performed there. Career Cooney began to act in 1946, appearing in many of the Whitehall farces of Brian Rix throughout the 1950s and 1960s. It was during this time that he co-wrote his first play, ''One For The Pot''. With Tony Hilton, he co-wrote the screenplay for the British comedy film '' What a Carve Up!'' Beit Lessin Theater ( he, תיאטרון בית ליסין, translit: ''Teatron Bet Lessin'') is a theater in Tel Aviv, Israel. History The theater was established in 1980 by Yaakov Agmon for the Histadrut. Over the years the theater has shown over a thousand contemporary American and European plays, as well as original productions. In 1993, Zippi Pines started managing the theater. It was separated from the Histadrut and started showing mostly original Israeli material reflecting the political and social situation in Israel. Pnina Gary ( he, פנינה גרי; Dromi; born September 24, 1927) is an Israeli actress and theatre director. Biography Pnina Dromi was born and raised in Nahalal, Mandatory Palestine, daughter of Yosef Dromi (previously Kotlar) and Tzipora Ostrowski. Her parents made aliyah from the Ukraine in 1919. Gary attended to Nahalal's Agricultural High School, and later the teachers' seminar to become a kindergarten teacher. An Israeli Love Story
''An Israeli Love Story'' is a play translated from the Hebrew play ''Sippur Ahava Eretz Yisraeli''. It premiered in 2008 and still runs in repertory at Tel Aviv's Givatayim Theater and Cameri Theater. The play was written by Pnina Gary and is based on her own true life story during the period between 1942 through 1948. Stagings The one-woman show was directed by Pnina Gary herself, and it is still performed by Adi Bielski, who won the Israeli Best Actress Award in Fringe Theater in 2009 for this multi-character role.
