Adequate 7
Adequate Seven were a Welsh band who blended music styles such as hip hop music, hip hop, hardcore punk, hardcore, punk rock, punk, and funk. They formed in 2000 and split in December 2006. History Adequate Seven formed in November 2000 and played their first gig only four weeks later. The band drew upon a diverse selection of influences in creating their sound. In February 2001 the band released the ''Adequate Seven EP'', a 5-track Extended play, EP on their own label Breaking World Records. The band was brought to the attention of London-based label Household Name Records who featured one of the band's tracks on their 2002 label sampler, following this with the release of Adequate Seven's début full-length ''Songs of Innocence and of Experience'' in March 2003 to critical acclaim. Cardiff (; cy, Caerdydd ) is the capital and largest city of Wales. The Slackers
The Slackers are an American ska band, formed in Manhattan, New York in 1991. The band's sound is a mix of ska, rocksteady, reggae, dub, soul, garage rock, and jazz. The Slackers' notability is credited to their prolific career, tours of North America, Europe, and elsewhere, and signing to notable punk label Hellcat Records. The members of the Slackers have also been known to perform in other bands and musical projects, including Reggae Workers of the World, David Hillyard & The Rocksteady Seven, Crazy Baldhead Sound System, Da Whole Thing, The Hall Trees, Stubborn All-Stars, and the SKAndalous All Stars. Attack! Attack! were a Welsh rock band from Caerphilly and Aberdare, formed in 2006. They released their self-titled debut album in 2008, with a second album '' The Latest Fashion'' released on 27 September 2010 through Hassle Records. Their third album, ''Long Road to Nowhere'', was announced for a 1 April 2013 release, and this was later confirmed to be their final release. The band played a farewell April/May headliner in 2013 and then split. Paolo Giovanni Nutini (born 9 January 1987) is a Scottish singer, songwriter and musician from Paisley, Renfrewshire, Paisley. Shootin' Goon
Shootin' Goon were a Welsh ska punk outfit of the late 1990s and early 2000s who were signed to the label Moon Ska Europe and later Good Clean Fun Records. Shootin' Goon released their debut album ''Splottside Rocksteady'' in 2000, with the title inspired by the Splott area of the band's hometown of Cardiff. The band later signed to lead singer Matt's own record label Good Clean Fun Records, and released the '' Left for Dead'' EP in 2003. The EP was reviewed by skateboarder Bam Margera for rock magazine ''Kerrang!'', in which he declared "I thought I was at the fucking circus!" prompting the band to sell T-shirts with the quote printed on them. The band broke up in 2004 following a self-organised tour. Following the band's demise Matt became manager of fellow Cardiff band Adequate Seven. Captain Everything! were a punk band from Watford, United Kingdom. Formed in 1998, the band play high tempo pop-punk, which was branded "Bubblegum Thrash". Drum and bass (also written as drum & bass or drum'n'bass and commonly abbreviated as D&B, DnB, or D'n'B) is a genre of electronic dance music characterized by fast breakbeats (typically 165–185 beats per minute) with heavy bass and sub-bass lines, samples, and synthesizers. The genre grew out of the UK's rave scene in the 1990s. The popularity of drum and bass at its commercial peak ran parallel to several other UK dance styles.
