Lynn S. Adelman (born October 1, 1939) is an Americans, American lawyer, judge, and former politician. He has served as a United States federal judge, United States district judge for the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin, since December 1997. Earlier in his career, he served 20 years in the Wisconsin State Senate, representing southwest Milwaukee County, Wisconsin, Milwaukee County and neighboring municipalities. Adelman has been a member of the board of directors of the global data collection company RIWI Corp. since June 2016. Early career Adelman was born to a Jewish family and graduated from Grinnell College in Iowa, majoring in philosophy and religion. Howard Adelman (born January 7, 1938) is a Canadian philosopher and former university professor. He retired as Professor Emeritus of Philosophy at York University in 2003. Adelmann ( la, Adelmannus Leodiensis, it, Adelmanno di Liegi, french: Adelman de Liège, nl, Adelman van Luik, german: Adelmann von Lüttich; ?, - c. 1061, Brescia) was the bishop of Brescia, in Northern Italy, during the eleventh century. Adelmann seems to have become bishop there in 1050, and to have taken an active share in the church-reform movement of the period, especially against the clerical abuses of simony and concubinage. Of unknown parentage and nationality, he was educated at the famous School of Chartres, in France, founded by Fulbert, and was considered one of his favourite scholars. Martyn Adelman
Martyn J Adelman or Martin, also known as Max Adelman (born 1947) is a British photographer and former drummer. Adelman learnt to play drums aged 14 and soon formed his first group, The Insteps, also including John Altman. A subsequent band included Peter Knight, later of Steeleye Span. Adelman was at Barnet College of Further Education with Peter Banks (later of Yes). Adelman later joined The Selfs, including Chris Squire (also later of Yes), and when The Selfs merged with The Syn, Adelman joined Squire and Selfs keyboardist Andrew Jackman in the new band.
