Adam Łabędzki
Adam Łabędzki (born 22 September 1972) is a former motorcycle speedway rider from Poland. He earned 3 international caps for the Poland national speedway team. Career Łabędzki started his speedway career with Unia Leszno during the 1989 Polish speedway season. He spent his first seven Polish leagues seasons with the club and helped them win the Team Speedway Polish Championship during his debut season. He reached two finals of the Speedway Under-21 World Championship in 1991 and 1993. During his last season with Leszno in 1996, he finished runner-up to Sławomir Drabik in the Polish Individual Speedway Championship. In 1997, he spent the season with Łódź before joining Sparta Wrocław for two years. Kościan
Kościan (german: Kosten) is a town on the Obra canal in west-central Poland, with a population of 23 952 inhabitants as of June 2014. Poland National Speedway Team
The Poland national speedway team is the national motorcycle speedway team of Poland and is controlled by the Polish Motor Union ( PZM). The team is one of the major teams in international speedway and they won the Team World Championship nine times (last time in 2009 and 2010). The team has won 1971 Speedway World Pairs Championship also. 2001 Elite League Speedway Season
The 2001 Elite League speedway season was the 67th season of top division of speedway in the United Kingdom and in 2001 was governed by the Speedway Control Board (SCB), in conjunction with the British Speedway Promoters' Association (BSPA). Season summary In 2001, the league consisted of nine teams and operated on a standard format without play-offs. Oxford Cheetahs won their first title since 1989. Sławomir Drabik (born 6 February 1966 in Jawor, Poland) is a Polish speedway rider who has won 1996 Team World Champion title. The Speedway Under-21 World Championship is an annual speedway event held each year organized by the International Motorcycling Federation (FIM) since 1977. As of 2022, the title was awarded to the winner of the SGP2 category at the FIM Speedway World Championship. Motorcycle Speedway
Motorcycle speedway, usually referred to simply as speedway, is a motorcycle sport involving four and sometimes up to six riders competing over four anti-clockwise laps of an oval circuit. The motorcycles are specialist machines that use only one gear and have no brakes. Racing takes place on a flat oval track usually consisting of dirt, loosely packed shale, or crushed rock (mostly used in Australia and New Zealand).
