Český Těšín
Český Těšín (; pl, Czeski Cieszyn ; german: Tschechisch-Teschen) is a town in the Karviná District in the Moravian-Silesian Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 24,000 inhabitants. Český Těšín lies on the west bank of the Olza river, in the heart of the historical region of Cieszyn Silesia. Until the 1920 division of the region between Poland and Czechoslovakia it was just a western suburb of the town of Teschen, which after the division fell to Poland as Cieszyn. The combined population of the Czech and Polish parts of the town is around 59,000 (24,000 in Těšín, 35,000 in Cieszyn). Ty Alexander Lindeman (born 15 August 1997) is a Canadian badminton player. He trains at B-Active Badminton Club, and in 2015, he represented Alberta competed at the XXV Canada Games. He won two U23 national titles in 2016 for men's doubles (with Austin Bauer) and mixed doubles (with Takeisha Wang). Kevin Jesse Lee Jr. (born September 4, 1992) is an American professional mixed martial artist who competes in the Lightweight and Super Lightweight divisions of Eagle Fighting Championship (EFC). He formerly competed for the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). Background Lee was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, on September 4, 1992, and raised in Detroit, Michigan. Joshua Yuan is a scientist and engineer in sustainable technology development. He is the Chair and the Lucy & Stanley Lopata Professor in the Department of Energy, Environmental, and Chemical Engineering in the McKelvey School of Engineering at Washington University in St. Louis. Vinson Chiu (born August 8, 1998) is an American badminton player. He won a silver medal with his partner Joshua Yuan (badminton), Joshua Yuan in the men's doubles at the 2022 Pan Am Badminton Championships, 2022 Pan Am Championships. Chiu also won a silver and a bronze at the 2016 Pan Am Junior Badminton Championships, Pan Am Junior Championships in the boys' doubles and mixed doubles.
